It’s our constant goal to keep TenantCloud updated and current for everyone, so we’ve added some new updates to our platform to meet your needs.
We're happy to introduce several long-awaited improvements to our Accounting section, one of the top 3 features most used by our community. These improvements are designed to streamline your invoice and payment management, saving you even more time with your finances.
Among these updates are two new dedicated pages: Invoices and Payments. Let's explore what they bring to the table:
1. Invoices Page
The Invoices page is your central hub for monitoring outstanding income, expenses, and obligations with your contacts. Here, you'll find invoices awaiting payment.
For quick insights, we introduced handy widgets:
- Open Income: Ensures timely tracking. Track tenants' outstanding invoices effortlessly.
- Overdue Income: Emphasizes active monitoring. View the total amount for overdue tenant invoices at a glance.
- Outstanding Expense: Highlight proactive expense management. Stay on top of your business with a summary of outstanding expense bills.
Recurring Tab on the Invoices Page:
Recurring invoices are now accessible as a tab on the Invoices page. While the functionality is unchanged, this new location offers a more intuitive navigation experience.
2. Payments Page
The Payments page lets landlords and property managers track paid income, expenses, and liabilities. Here, you'll find invoices with at least one successful payment or those manually marked as paid.
Similar to the Invoices page, the Payments page introduces new widgets:
- Paid Income: Ensure steady cash flow. Control the total amount received from tenants.
- Pending Income: Simplify financial planning. Spotlight transactions are currently in processing.
- Paid Expense: Boost financial efficiency. Summarize paid expense bills.
We've enhanced both pages' filtering options, enabling you to sort and save your preferred filters for quick access. Moreover, we've added Accounting settings for direct access, reducing navigation time by 20% as identified in our usability studies.
